I kid. October is only 31 days. BUT October is one of the months of the 12 that is packed full of lots of camera fun, birthdays and nonstop adventures.
Here are a few of my adventures (captured on my iPhone):
Fall time in Virginia just seems to be full of lovely sunsets. Often times, I found myself stopping to watch them.
Designed a new sweatshirt and supported a friend battling breast cancer.
Had a crazy idea that turned into a cool lil video shoot with a friend.
Said video shoot…plus lots of cookie eating.
I started to my Christmas shopping. Finally. And bought way too many candles. Dang Yankee Candle sales get me every time.
October rounded out a great year of weddings with some really spectacular couples.
I started tracking my running a little into October and finished up the month with 35 miles. About a mile a day, not too bad I say.
The first batch of hearty chili was made, simmering for a few hours and making the coolest of fall nights tolerable.
My grandparents would make wine from their huge grape vines. The wine was used in communion at the church my grandfather preached at for years. My dad found some of the wine they made in the late 80s and brought it home for us to taste. Strongest and sweetest wine I ever had.
Celebrated Boss’s Day with chocolate. The only way it should be celebrated : )
Running more than ever…uh, in my life has taught me a few things. What I eat can impact how I run or how I feel. Tried a little granola, yogurt and fruit for breakfast one morning and now I’m hooked.
October means birthday month for me, a sweet little surprise from a client : )
My sweet Napolie and a birthday wish. Heart melt.
Every year I get “birthday pictures” done. Just a lil something I do for myself. Face paint done my the very talented Jessica at Les Cheveux
Witnessing a blind veteran catch a rainbow trout was pretty amazing. Opportunities like these made by my day job will things I’ll always carry with me.
For the first time…in a long time, I dressed up for Halloween. Bringing out the spiders was necessary.
Going into November, my heart pitter-patters with the thought of Thanksgiving and Christmas fast approaching. My favorite holidays. Oh my, I just can’t wait. Now if I could just get over the fact I’ll have to start wearing coats again : D
