I may or may not have spent most of the day in my PJs. Ok, I did spend most of the day in my PJs. It’s snowing lots and lots today, which is the complete opposite of yesterday:
60 degrees, no coat needed and flowers / plants were thinking it’s the beginning of Spring. There was even small pink buds on our peach tree. Then today happened:
The first snow all winter here in Virginia, which is pretty uncommon, we usually start having snow in December or at least in January. Our boys love the snow, run, play, slide, eat it…you know, the usual fun snow day:

To end our snowy Sunday, we’re enjoying our annual lasagna night (it’s a Valentine’s tradition we’ve had for years). Since we both had a busy week, we’re taking advantage of this beautiful Sunday and while Chris is hard at work on the main dish, I made these delicious bad boys earlier:
Oh chocolate and peanut butter, you are one of my best friends. Add these to the dinner we are about to enjoy, the quiet snow just outside our door and just remembering two of my new favorite TV shows coming on tonight (hello, Once Upon A Time and Downton Abbey), I couldn’t feel more blessed in the little things in life. Here’s to you having a very blessed evening as well.
