It was a year ago when a lot of questions and unknown hits as things started to close down for what we thought would be two weeks. While it was a day of confusion and fear, it was also a day that had joy and celebration. Two kind souls started a new chapter a year ago today and became engaged.
Chris has planned for months to propose to Natalie. He set the date and had everything lined up: florist, ring, photographer, gifts for family, and a special dinner with the family.
We had a couple of close calls like when I met Chris two weeks before to scout for photos and look at lighting, we set off the house alarm and Chris made some quick phone calls to get it taken care of before Natalie was alerted (shew!). But everything worked out perfectly and it was amazing. From the rose petals on the floor to having Natalie’s favorite wine chilled and ready to be enjoyed. Of course, she said yes and it was incredible to photograph their engagement…just the two of them among a sea of beautiful flowers:
