New month and I’m shouting BYE to February.
I haven’t written one of my monthly recaps in a while. That may be because I’ve been knee deep in Pinterest scrolling. Home decor has been my new eye candy.
February came in and out like a “Oh, hello, I’m here.”
The weather certainly has been a-okay with me. Lots of camera time in February will help break me in for spring.
Last month, we made a quick hop on the interstate to visit Belmont, NC. A cute little town right outside of Charlotte. The Jonas Brothers have a restaurant there with the BEST mac n’ cheese. I tell the truth.
I started a new adventure of finding a new home. Oh my, patience has been the key. More on that later.
Every morning, Ivan and I take a walk. It’s been my breather + time to prepare for the day. I started doing it to help chill his separation anxiety, but it’s become something I look forward to before work. Get the mind and focus right.
The other day I took Ivan to the park right before dusk. There were still a few minutes left of light and once he got his sniffies out, we just sat. Quiet and phone down. We sat. Gosh those moments are nice.
I’ve been working on eating healthier…I say this after eating cookies. But I said no to eating pizza tonight so there’s that.
Things to look forward to in March:
– My last month before wedding season starts! More so, ready for wedding season!
– Fairytales: The Charlotte Ballet is doing Sleeping Beauty AND Beauty and the Beast hits theaters. Eeeee!
– Daylight Savings Time. That is all.
– Fridge, washer and dryer shopping. It makes me giggle to think of myself shopping for these very “grown up” things.
