What happens when you meet on a dating app right before the pandemic sends the world into confusion? You don’t let fear hold you back, and if your heart says go, well, by golly, you go.
Josh + Rachel clicked immediately from their first conversations to feeling like they were seeing a best friend when meeting in-person for the first time. While many people focused on quarantine and the obstacles it brought, Josh + Rachel took that time to focus on each other. “No one knows what the future holds, especially during these pandemic times, but we are certain we want to step forward into our future together. I truly believe it was God’s timing and God’s hand that brought us together, and that certainly continues to be underlined as we make decisions,” said Rachel.
Josh + Rachel married at a private residence on Smith Mountain Lake, surrounded by close family and friends. Their intimate wedding was so thoughtfully planned and completely full of joy.
Rachel’s family and friends gathered the day before to help create each flower arrangement by hand. The dinner table was full of blue and white vases her family collected over the years. A custom-designed monogram finished the details in the most perfect way. And their special guest, Beckley, may have stolen the spotlight a time or two.
