What happens when it’s your wedding day and it rains? You have your wedding!
Joshua + Emily’s wedding seemed just as special with rain or no rain. It was still lovely and full of joy.
A few favorite moments:
- Joshua + Emily chose to do a first look. It was the sweetest, quiet moment under a few raindrops with just the two of them. Shortly after, Emily did a first look with her dad and brothers…all four of them were all smiles!!
- Since Joshua + Emily planned for taking all formal portraits before the ceremony, we were able to escape to Carvins Cove after the ceremony for portraits with just the two of them. The fog hung heavy on the mountains as rain sprinkled the lake…it was amazing!
- Emily surprised guests with a fun dance with her dad and four brothers! Each dance was picked to fit their personalities.
- After the cake was cut, the dances were danced, the sparklers were burned…Joshua + Emily took off through the garden where the smoke from the sparklers hung by a nearby walkway light. It was completely unplanned and a perfect end to their night as they walked through the smoke and towards the light of a new chapter together.
