Where else in the beginning of January will you find 80 degree temperatures, peacocks, flamingos, palm trees and warm ocean breezes? Punta Canta, Dominican Republic, of course.
Khristian + Mallory had a week long celebration leading up to their wedding day. Family and friends joined them at Dreams Punta Cana Resort. The perfect beginning to a stress-free wedding day, which is exactly how the day unfolded.
A few of my favorite moments:
– The first look AND when Mallory walked down the aisle were both emotional moments. The first look took place in a secret little garden off the beaten path of the resort. When Khristian saw Mallory for the first time, his facial expressions said it all. They didn’t say much the first few moments of seeing each other, sometimes in those moments, you don’t need words.
– During the ceremony, most of the images I have are of Khristian + Mallory are laughing and smiling at each other. Surrounded by their close family and friends, in a garden in the middle of a resort, sigh.
– Khristian’s dad sang and played guitar at their reception. He did so very beautifully.
– At the end of the night, for the last song, all of the guests formed a circle around Khristian + Mal as they danced. Holding her tight, Khristian spun Mallory and cheers could be heard all over the resort.
Such an awesome beginning to a new chapter for these two. Best wishes for many more days on sunny beaches and moments full of laughter.
