Around 8:30am the snow started to fill the air and collect around my house. I’ve been working on embracing the opportunity to sit in silence without having to do SOMETHING.
I watched the snow fall with the patio door slightly open so I could hear the layers build of white fluff. For 30 minutes I sat in silence. Being present in the moment. Something I strive for more in my life. Not thinking about what I need to be doing or should be doing and be very careful on what thoughts I let linger.
I took three trips outside with my camera today. Ivan joined me for two of those trips, more so when his friends were outside playing, too. We ended our snow adventure filled day with a walk with friends, warm soup and fuzzy pjs.
