Luke + Meredith : Kyle House Wedding

06.01.2012

Sometimes you meet someone and you just click. And that’s it. There’s no need to make things work to try to make a friendship work out because it just does. That’s what happened with Luke and Meredith when they met through their church’s youth group. Since they lived a hour from each other, that’s the only time that were able to spend together. It was only a matter of time that seeing each other only at youth group just wasn’t cutting it and soon started dating. The next few years life took them on a roller coaster and at times, things were tough. But whatever they went through, however tough, Meredith said it perfectly: “…it really grew and solidified our relationship.”

Luke and Meredith spent their college years together as well at Longwood University and after becoming engaged spent the following spring studying together ABROAD in ENGLAND (that is so awesome and such a wonderful opportunity)!! These two are such sweethearts and there was no doubt had a great time at their wedding.

A few of my favorite memories of their wedding day:

– While Meredith walked down the aisle friends and family sang the hymn “All Love’s Excelling.”

– After the ceremony and during pictures a bird decided to use the edge of Meredith’s dress as a rest stop. She simply looked down at her dress and said “Oh, a bird pooped on my dress.” Seriously, that girl is awesome.

– Several times during the evening, while they danced, Luke would reach over and gently kiss Meredith on the forehead. Sigh.

Meredith’s engagement ring which belonged to Luke’s grandmother – gorgeous!

I think I NEED her shoes : )

Meredith carried one of her grandmother’s brooches on her bouquet:

Chris took this and it’s one of my absolute favorites:

Oh my, my the cupcakes from Chestnut Hill Bakery were unbelievable. My favorite, Chocolate Chip Cookie – hello!

A beautiful bride going down an old staircase? I’ll take it!

Man, they had some awesome guests:

A perfect ending:

I loved the wedding, and smile when I see the pictures. Beautiful! I’m glad Ruthie gave a heads up to watch the video. It was great. I couldn’t view it on my iPhone, so I waited until I was on my computer. Wishing you both the very best!

I would like to use some of these on my web site. Please email me so we can discuss this.
