I always tell my couples to be sure to pick a photographer you don’t mind being around for most of your wedding day. Not only are we around our couples for the majority of their wedding day but we also witness special moments with our couples between their family and friends. And because of that, I get to know their family and friends pretty quickly. My goodness Matt + Hannah are loved to the moon and back. The best way I can describe their day is to break it down into a few of my favorite moments:
– Right before it was time for the ceremony, Hannah’s family circle around her for prayer. It was so touching and so moving, there wasn’t a dry eye in the room. And right before it was time for Matt + Hannah to take off, they circled again, in a huge hug.
– The moment Matt + Hannah were announced husband and wife, holy moly did the room explode with cheer – not just clapping, but full on yelling cheers (told you they were loved to the moon and back). And were these two so very happy to finally be husband and wife!
– When the end of the night came, all of Matt + Hannah’s family and friends joined in a huge circle on the dance floor and watched as the two danced the last dance to “My Girl”. Melted my heart.
– Matt is in the Airforce so after the wedding him and Hannah had some traveling ahead of them. Because of this, it would be a while before Hannah would see her family again. And let me tell you, when Hannah and her family hug, they truly hug from the heart. You’ll just have to scroll down to see what I mean : )

These girls, I tell you, I could photograph them all day!:
Gees Hannah, can you make my job any easier???:
The tear in Hannah’s brother’s eyelashes got me:
By the way it was a chilly 30 some degrees on their wedding day. Can you tell? Me neither:
I usually don’t post any of the “family” portraits but I HAD to show you guys this one, toooo cute:
Hannah’s veil actually belonged to her mother. It was much longer but her mom cut it to fit with Hannah’s dress:
Last Dance to My Girl (sigh):
Saying goodbye to her family was emotional but was one of the sweetest moments I’ve seen:
