Robert + Brandi : Hotel Roanoke Wedding

Robert + Brandi’s wedding was one of the more emotional weddings I’ve photographed. It was apparent to see that their friends and family were more than ecstatic these two were getting married. Before I even stepped foot into the room Brandi and her girls were getting ready in, I heard cheers, laughter and several “Woo hoo!”. And that’s exactly how the rest of their wedding day was. Here are a few of my favorite memories:

– Cindy, Brandi’s mom, was her Maid Of Honor (or Matron of Honor…whichever). Just spending a few minutes with these two, it’s easy to tell that they are the best of friends. Besides Robert, Cindy is one of Brandi’s biggest fans. And vice versa.

– Brandi’s dad, Tommy, was helping one of the staff members and looked up at them and said “My little girl’s getting married today.” and when a very teary eyed Brandi met him at the beginning of the aisle, he wiped her tears away before proceeding down the aisle.

– At their reception, the groomsmen and bridesmaids broke out into impromptu karaoke – ever seen a bride wrap to Ice Ice Baby?? Incredible.

– Robert kept their first dance song a secret from Brandi. When Michael Buble’s “Everything” came on, Robert sang every word to Brandi.

The tears came when Brandi saw her bouquet for the first time:

I LOVED how excited Robert + Brandi’s family and friends were for them:

This is just two cute:

Brandi’s uncle walked her half way then Brandi’s dad, walked her the rest. I love how they took a moment together before walking.

Cindy, Brandi’s mom, was so excited for them, she was tearing up all through their first dance:

The started out with an innocent exchange for the cake, then it was ON:

If you think I didn’t tear up during this moment, you’re crazy:

Just about every guest jumped up for the “train”, including grandma!:

Bet you can’t guess what song this is:
