Thanks and Full


This year we started our Thanksgiving day out a little differently than normal. Along with these crazy folks:



And 15,000 other people:

We participated in the Drumstick Dash in Roanoke. I wouldn’t exactly brag on my running skills so needless to say, I walked but Chris ran his first 5k in 27 minutes!:

We then took off to spend time with family and enjoy in deliciousness:

(Notice how the mac & cheese is front and center? It’s a very important dish around here)

My mom’s made from scratch Pecan Pie (I may or may not be enjoying a slice right now):

I didn’t take pictures of the dishes I tried out making this year. But I must say, the Pumpkin Pie Fudge and Pumpkin Crisp “Cake”…right on.
As for now, back to getting rid of some leftovers : )
